Ain't No Romance Around There Welcome, ?uestlove fans.

I’ve been tossing around the idea of starting a blog for sometime now. My fascination with pop culture has led me to develop some very strong opinions about the subject. Generally, I end up sharing these opinions with my friends in conversations I can only imagine that they try to avoid having. When I’m feeling more charitable, and I’d rather have my friends voluntarily view my thoughts, I’ve written them down somewhere in the cloud, usually via facebook.

Unfortunately, I discovered that the “My Notes” feature of facebook, well, sucks while writing a “Note” on facebook after the infamous University of Notre Dame/Freekbass Fiasco. Without the ability to use html or to imbed video, my diatribe left much to be desired.



So here I am, almost a year later, finally following through on this blogging plan. While it may fizzle and burn like most every other REALLY BIG IDEA I’ve had, It feels nice to finally establish an appropriate venue to use 8,000 words to tell you all why Dumb & Dumber is a funny movie.

For those that may not know, the title is taken from the song "A Certain Romance" from the Arctic Monkeys' 2006 album, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not. Enjoy.
